Purpose Statement

The ministry I have is an honor and a privilege. It carries with it a heavy responsibility but the people I meet around the world are my reward. I am fortunate to be able to work with a dedicated and talented global team who also live with a passion for this same ministry. Much of my work involves travel to places that few get to visit. It seems that the least I can do is share with you a few glimpses of the joys, needs, and challenges of the people, cultures and landscapes I find. It was C. S. Lewis who wrote: “If you want to get warm you must stand near the fire: if you want to be wet you must get into the water. If you want joy, power, peace, eternal life, you must get close to, or even into, the thing that has them.” We must be with the people we serve—those often marginalized by society. By doing so they have become “my people” and they can become yours too. Visit our website, https://www.possibilityministries.org/, to learn more about the seven categories of ministry we help coordinate for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our focus is on their “possibilities” which supersedes any “disability.”

“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.” (2 Cor. 5:7, NIV)
